D2D Destiny Foundation, in support of VGH & UBC Hospital Foundation, hosts the second Annual One Country One Film Festival. The festival takes place On June 23rd and June 24th at the Vancity Theatre. All proceeds from the ticket sales go to Sheway, a pregnancy outreach program that provides health and social services to women in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside.

The festival features several short films from around the world centered on the theme of “humanity.” The films explore stories of love, harmony, cultural diversity and the connections that we have with one another. The films include Jail Quarters (France), 17 Anos Juntos (Spain), Coat Check Lady (Russia), A Trip with Mom (Taiwan) and many more.
