On the heels of the most popular day of the year for online shopping, Giving Tuesday is a day dedicated to giving back. This year, on Tuesday, December 1, VGH & UBC Hospital Foundation witnessed incredible acts of giving from individuals coming together to surpass our Giving Tuesday goal.

Generous Board member and our Treasurer, Bev Briscoe, challenged the community to match her gift of $7,500 to the Angel Campaign for Giving Tuesday. Donors like you stepped up and we raised a total of $18,744.15! Funds raised will support our hospitals and health care centres’ most urgent needs, such as funding vital equipment and innovative research to ensure that the best, most specialized care is available for all British Columbians.
