The Centre for Hip Health and Mobility (CHHM) improves the lives of Canadians by working together to help provide solutions for arthritis and falls-related fractures, and bone and joint diseases. The CHHM aims to deliver research solutions to prevent, detect, and treat bone and joint problems using innovative tools and techniques, cost-effective interventions and advanced surgical solutions.

Hundreds of projects are under way; researchers focus on why some people have more frail bones than others, use state-of-the-art Upright Open MRI to detect early signs of osteoarthritis and positively influence children and adult behaviours to improve health.
