VGH & UBC Hospital Foundation was delighted to learn of Philanthropist Robert Ho’s appointment to the Order of British Columbia. He has donated millions of dollars to health care and education; $15 million of which helped establish the Robert H.N. Ho Research Centre at Vancouver General Hospital, a state-of-the-art home to three internationally renowned research programs: the Vancouver Prostate Centre, the Centre for Hip Health and Mobility and the Ovarian Cancer Research Institute. His philanthropic spirit comes from his belief that “before you receive, you must first give.”
