Over 800 medical, corporate, and philanthropic leaders came together for VGH & UBC Hospital Foundation’s 2025 Capital Direct Vitality Gala on Saturday night at the Vancouver Convention Centre – an unforgettable evening celebrating the power of community in advancing health care.  

Thanks to the remarkable generosity of all those in attendance, the many who supported from afar, this year’s gala raised more than $3.2 million for health care innovation in BC!  

Every dollar raised at the gala supports VGH & UBC Hospital Foundation, fuelling groundbreaking research, world-class health care teams and life-saving treatments for the most complex cases across BC.

The evening was filled with unforgettable moments: a stunning $1.2M donation from the Ko Family and Viva Pharmaceutical Inc., a matching $100K donation from our Growth Impact Partner, Windset Farms, and many more.
