On Friday, May 22, 2026, Time to Shine returns to the Fairmont Pacific Rim to raise funds for VGH & UBC Hospital Foundation, the leading charity investing in health care innovation in BC.
You’ll join leaders, donors, and changemakers for an evening rooted in generosity, connection and purpose.
Guests will enjoy an elevated dining experience. Three‑Michelin‑star Chef Paolo Casagrande will curate a culinary celebration in support of better care across BC.

Since 2015, Time to Shine has raised more than $22.6 million to advance health care innovation across British Columbia.
This year, funds raised will support the Greater Than Cancer campaign, a bold $35 million effort to propel cancer care and research at Vancouver General Hospital (VGH).
With our population growing and aging, the latest models project a 75% rise in cases at VGH, which diagnoses and treats the most complex cancers in BC. Your generosity will help VGH:
- Build the pathology lab of the future using robotics and AI to speed up diagnoses, improve accuracy, and expand access.
- Equip world‑class surgeons with state-of-the-art tools and spaces to tackle cancer’s toughest tumours.
- Accelerate breakthroughs by helping clinician‑scientists test new treatments and run clinical trials so patients can access life‑saving therapies.
