February 13, 2014 – The 17^th Annual Healthy Heart Fundraiser raised $82,000 for the VGH Centre for Cardiovascular Health.  We want to express a heartfelt thank you to all of the individual fundraisers, donors, volunteers and staff from the Cardiac Center that helped to make this event such a success.

We also want to thank this year’s sponsors for their support:  A & B Party and Event Rentals, Angel Hand Wellness, Choices Markets, Forerunners, Fro’tobooth, Lache Cercel Trio, Mr. Terry Sklavenitis, Mr. Jimmy Shields, Olives on Tap, Rogue Kitchen & Wetbar, Smart Soup, SportMed, Urban Poling and Vancouver Board of Parks Recreation.

The proceeds will be used to purchase new gym equipment for the Cardiac Rehabilitation Clinic, provide continued staff education and offer subsidized funding for those that required financial assistance for the rehabilitation programs.
