A sea of green tee shirts took over Rocky Point Park at the 2nd annual NMO 5km walk/run in Port Moody On June 1, 2014. The event raised over $11,000 in support of Neuromyelitis Optica Research at VGH.

NMO is a rare autoimmune disease that attacks the central nervous system, typically the spinal cord and optic nerves.  It can cause temporary or permanent blindness and/or paralysis. There is currently no cure for NMO.
