MS patient Marilyn Lenzen is excited that donations to fund MS research can help others like her.

In 2000, Marilyn Lenzen was dismayed to learn she had multiple sclerosis. Since her diagnosis, she has received care at UBC Hospital’s MS Clinic. As one of the most active MS programs in the world, the MS Clinic is at the forefront of patient care, treatment and research.

To provide this outstanding calibre of care, the MS Clinic relies heavily on the generosity of donors. That’s why we’re so grateful to the Milan & Maureen Ilich Foundation. They’ve dedicated $2.5 million to MS research, to advance new discoveries and find more effective treatment options.

“As somebody who’s living with this disease, the research centred at the MS Clinic gives me hope,” says Marilyn. “We really need to keep donations coming, so that researchers can help find a cure for MS.”

The MS Clinic is a global leader in MS patient care and research, and provides specialized care to more than 6,000 patients annually.

Through generous donations, people like Marilyn – as well as thousands of others across BC – have hope for a brighter future without MS.
