The 2016 Life of Art Young Artist Exhibition raised $27,015 in support of the Art Studios.

VGH & UBC Hospital Foundation invites you to attend this year’s The Life of Art Young Artist Exhibition, in support of the Art Studios, a therapeutic art program for people living with mental health illnesses and addiction in Vancouver.

Date: Saturday, June 3
Time: 10 am to 6 pm
Location: Heritage Hall – 3102 Main Street, Vancouver

The Life of Art Exhibition showcases works of art created by talented young artists from VGH & UBC Hospital Foundation’s Youth Leadership Program and raises funds for the Art Studios through a silent and live auction. This event provides youth with the opportunity to enact change and help others, while developing their creative and innovative potential.

Funds raised will go toward Art Studios, a program that offers individuals the opportunity to recover through clinical intervention, art making and participation in a safe, social community. Last year’s exhibition raised over $27,000 for the program.

About the Youth Leadership Program:

VGH & UBC Hospital Foundation’s Youth Leadership Program inspires peer to peer contribution to community.  The program empowers youth to take on an active role volunteering through community service and individual and group fundraising efforts. The collective goal of the program is to raise awareness and funds to support health care in BC.
