Over 800 leaders from BC’s corporate, philanthropic, and medical communities came together on Saturday for VGH & UBC Hospital Foundation’s third annual Vitality Gala, presented by B2Gold Corp. Thanks to the remarkable generosity of all those in attendance, and the many who supported from afar, the Vitality Gala raised $2,515,040 for health care innovation in BC.
The total donation amount included a historic winning bid of $320,000 for our Taylor Swift The Eras Tour VIP Suite Experience for 15 people, the biggest auction gift we’ve ever seen at a VGH & UBC Hospital Foundation gala! Congratulations to the winning bidder and thank you to BC Place and PavCo for donating this once-in-a-lifetime package.
A special thanks also goes to our Milestone Partner, Capital Direct I Income Trust, whose generosity inspired attendees to raise an additional $155,000 to Fund the Greatest Needs.
