My name is Chad and I’m an emergency physician, or “ER doc” as my friends like to say. I lead an amazing team as the Department Head and Medical Director of Emergency Medicine at Vancouver General Hospital (VGH) and UBC Hospital. I am so proud to be part of a team comprised of many wonderful, talented, and passionate health care professionals from diverse backgrounds. Each team member brings their unique personality and skill to ensure that our patients receive the best care possible.
There aren’t many careers that involve working so closely with patients and high-caliber colleagues in such a fascinating, fast-paced, high-stakes, controlled-chaos environment that is the Emergency Department. Our staff have some interesting stories to tell so throughout the month of August, so please make sure you’re signed up to receive emails from VGH & UBC Hospital Foundation!
To do great work and to deliver compassionate care in such a high-intensity environment, support from donors gives us the best tools and resources to provide world-class medical care. Donors play a huge part in allowing us to be able to bring our best to work every day.
Today, one of our biggest supporters, Grosvenor Americas, wants to help double the impact that you can have. They are generously supporting the Emergency Department at VGH this August by matching YOUR donations, up to $30,000! This is your chance to make double the difference—you can double your impact on the ER team and, most importantly, on our patients today!
