Building healthier communities across BC
Ticket sales from the Hometown Heroes Lottery support VGH & UBC Hospital Foundation, raising essential funds for specialized adult health services at VGH, UBC Hospital, GF Strong Rehabilitation Centre, Vancouver Coastal Health Research Institute, and Vancouver Community Health Services.
“Every ticket purchased helps equip our hospitals with cutting-edge technology, supports groundbreaking research, and provides patients with access to new therapies and clinical trials,” said Angela Chapman, President and CEO of VGH & UBC Hospital Foundation. “With your support, we can build healthier communities across BC. Let’s bring it home – and support our Hometown Heroes.”
Ticket sales also support Burn Fund programs, such as the Home Away program, which offers accommodations to burn and trauma survivors at the Burn Fund Centre in Vancouver, mental health support for burn survivors and fire fighters, as well as the annual Burn Camp for young burn survivors.
