Celebrating 25 Years of Art & Healing

For 25 years, VGH & UBC Hospital Foundation’s Art Collection has been the creative heart of our health care centres, providing a calming and therapeutic environment for patients, staff, and visitors alike. From postmodern abstractions to coastal landscapes, the waiting rooms and corridors of Vancouver General Hospital (VGH), UBC Hospital and GF Strong Rehabilitation Centre are now home to a collection of more than 2,800 works of art by some of Canada’s most acclaimed modern artists.

Watch the video above as Roberta Beiser and Jim O’Hara, co-founders of the program, speak to the healing power of art and the vital importance of donor support.

Help us celebrate 25 years of art and healing with a philanthropic gift of support. Your donation will help to manage and care for our collection, ensuring it continues to inspire and heal for years to come.
