Leave a gift in your will to deliver future cures and better care for the next generation. Leaving a gift in your will is called a bequest. You can designate a specific dollar amount or an item such as real estate, jewelry or art. A residual bequest lets you donate a percentage or the remainder of your estate after debts are settled, and loved ones are cared for.
